Innovative Storytelling: Organizational Narratives
Problem: SBP, a 15-year-old non-profit that has done impressive work in the disaster recovery and affordable housing space, had never had consistent channels for communicating both their work and impact in words and images. Supporters and partners were often not aware of the full-breadth of SBP’s work.
Solution: We needed to build more narrative language around the different aspects of our work and consistently tell those stories. This longer-form content would also provide a base for shorter-form uses like social. I also developed relationships with photojournalists in our respective regions to capture both our work and our clients in a style that reflect SBP’s ethos and values.
